I hope things are good with you.
I have decided to run in the Ethiopian Great Run on Sunday the 27th of November 2011 in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and I am looking or asking people to join me in this run or walk or if you want to crawl to raise funds for an irish Humanitarian Charity, Self Help Africa who have been working in 9 countries in Africa for the past 28 years. We wil be going to Ethiopia for just about a week (23rd of Nov to the 29th of Nov 2011) and we will be visiting some of the Self Help Africa Projects in various parts of Ethiopia to show you how Self Help Africa spends your hard raised funds and also to see how successful these projects are and how your funds are making a huge difference in the lives of so many.
Please look at the attached brochure and application form and if you are not in a position to join me maybe you might send it around to some of your contacts who might be interested. The trip to Ethiopia has a real significance for me as some of the Self Help Africa projects are helping in areas where my 2 daughters Mia and Sophie families are known to have lived so it is with extra special meaning that I want to do this run/walk so that I can help those areas or regions.
