The death has occurred of Mike Thornton of Lydican, Oranmore, Galway.
Suddenly, at his home. Mike, beloved husband of Mary; much loved father of Colin, Niamh, Shauna and uncle to his special nephew Alan; deeply regretted by his sister Margaret, brothers Frank, David, Paul and Edmund; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, Mary’s family and friends (Dunmore) and all his good friends and neighbours in Carnmore.

Reposing this (Monday) evening from 5pm in Claregalway Mortuary Chapel, within the grounds of the Church of the Assumption & St James, with removal at 7pm to the adjacent church. Mass this (Tuesday) at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Claregalway Cemetery. House private on Monday and family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to the Family and Friends Association of the John Paul Centre.
