Interior Design is a great career, as it is easy to earn extra money working part-time or full-time with very little expense. This course is a combination workshops and lectures. You don’t just take notes—you get to work with actual design materials and fabrics, colour cards, samples and illustrations to create a professional portfolio by the end of the course.
You are taught the whys & hows, the techniques and art of interior design, as well as the business of being an interior designer. Unlike many courses that just teach the theory of design, the Connacht College of Design diploma course prepares participants to enter the professional world, giving them the skills to open their own professional world, giving them the skills to open their own consulting firm, or work for a company as a professional, if that is the goal.
