Auctioneer Aidan Foley of The Galway Auction Rooms will conduct the sale of 1,000 lots with no reserve.

This is a most exciting sale offering an opportunity to purchase some excellent quality items and will be of interest to interior designers looking for that special piece with excellent provenance.

Much of the furniture has now been removed from the hotel and will be sold at public auction on February 7th and 8th.

Following last year’s successful auction, it has been decided to sell the 1,000 lots over two days on this occasion.

The sale will include curtains, lamps, occasional tables, chairs, sofas, beds, throws, desks, dressing tables and towel radiators.

There is also a large collection of pictures, prints, mirrors and a selection of high quality antique furniture.

As items are being removed from the hotel on a daily basis, the contents of the Auction continues to evolve but will no doubt include items of interest for everyone. All items to be sold without reserve,” said auctioneer Aidan Foley.

The old Sawmills on the Clonbur Road will be the venue which is the same venue as last years sale.

Viewing for the sale will be on Friday February 6th, with the auction taking place on Saturday and Sunday February 7th and 8th.

Further details will be posted online at www.IrishCountryHome.com as Aidan Foley of Galway Auction Rooms makes progress with the preparation of the auction.
