In an exciting new departure, The Arches Hotel Claregalway & Sharon Conneely Gannon of Make it Healthy are teaming up to host a series of Themed Healthy Eating Seminars over the next few months. The first of these seminars will take place on Monday May 9th in The Arches Hotel with a starting time of 7pm. The theme for the first evening will be Healthy Cooking For A Busy Lifestyle and will focus on demonstrating how some simple planning and a little know how can help you whip up some tasty and healthy home cooked meals.
Sharon is a busy mum of two, so she understands that even with the best of intentions, it can be hard to cook healthy, wholesome food for the family. She has spent the last two years running Unislim classes where she discovered that a lot of people are eating processed foods due to lack of knowledge & skills in the kitchen. She started doing some demos in class for Unislim members which proved to be hugely popular. This popularity has inspired her to share her knowledge and passion with the general public. She has Diploma in Nutrition and is the online recipe content editor for Unislim.
Sharon will be joined on the night by Arches Hotel Head Chef Stephen Cotter. Stephen recently returned to Ireland after spending fifteen years in some top Restaurants in France. Sharon & Stephen will be available for a Q&A session at the end of the Seminar. The Arches Hotel, has recently undergone a major refurbishment to its Restaurant, Bar & Function Room. Brendan Dunleavy, Operations Manager at The Arches says “We are delighted to team up with a local entrepreneur like Sharon, especially as she is using her knowledge and passion to help people improve their lives & lifestyles”.
There are a limited number of early bird tickets available on Eventbrite. Tickets can also be purchased from the Arches Hotel.
