Strictly Claregalway – Season 2. Now is your chance to follow in the footsteps of Season 1 dancers. Plans are being made for an event at the end of January. The Claregalway Ladies Club will host a breakfast morning in Claregalway Hotel on Sunday, December 18th from 09.30 to 12.30. Come along and enjoy breakfast with players, coaches, parents and friends. This will be a wonderful opportunity for under age players to meet the senior/junior players and see the trophies won at all levels by men’s and ladies teams during the year. Special guests will be in attendance including one very special guest who will be doing a final check on his lists.
Adults: €10 Under 16s: €5 Under 10s: €2 Family rates will apply.
The new handball alley has moved on to the final stages. All the court walls have been plastered and drying while outside the groundworks are at an advanced stage with the hoarding coming down and the external doors hung.
The final stages are the glass back wall, the screed floor in mid December and the court floor will be laid early in 2017. All going well we’ll be playing our first games by the end of January 2017.
We would like to invite anyone interested in joining the Club Coaching Committee to make their interest known to a Club Officer or by return email to this email address. It is an opportunity for you to participate in the organisation of coaching and influence the direction & nature of coaching in the club. The coaching committee have responsibility across Ladies, Juvenile and Adult Clubs. This invite is extended to all and can be circulated to any interested individuals.
