Feedthepulse is a Claregalway-based food business, launched in 2016 by the McArdle family.

Feedthepulse works closely with the Galway GAA to provide all the county teams with wholesome nutritious meals to fuel their training and match performances.

The business has cooked and served healthy meals to Galway GAA’s elite athletes almost every day this year, early morning breakfasts, late nights training, lunches and healthy ready meals to take home.

Owen says the dedication of Galway’s elite athletes would inspire you to “raise your game” and in doing so a whole new business developed for Feedthepulse.

The foods are based on a healthy heart profile, high in protein, low in salt, sugar, and fat and containing a source of fibre.  This winning combination has received ‘healthy ways’ awards from Croi for sauces and recipes, and a prestigious European award that recognises that most innovative people working in food and nutrition.

Feedthepulse was the only Irish company to be placed on the Unilever Foundry and Food Vision Trailblazer competition in Cannes France 2016.

Feedthepulse Heat & Eat meals are available to buy in The Unit Gym Claregalway or order directly from them. These meals are exactly what they provide to Galway GAA elite athletes.

Feedthepulse sauces can be found in SuperValu’s Food Academy fridges in Hughes Claregalway, Flynn’s of Lackagh, O’Tooles Tuam, and Nestor’s Oranmore.
