In Handball Congrats to all our players who took part in the County Juvenile B Championships over the weekend. We captured three county titles in Boys U11 singles (Ben Morley), Girls U11 singles (Amy Duggan) and Girls U13 Doubles (Ava Kileen and Leah O’Halloran). All
players go on to Connacht semi finals in a fortnight against Mayo. Next Saturday 3rd March, Niamh Heffernan will play her All-Ireland Minor semi final against the Munster Champion Catriona Millane. The game starts at 1pm in Claregalway and promises to be a great game with
two of the finest young females in handball in action. Bring your club colours and voice to cheer Niamh on. On Sunday 4th March we host some of the Juvenile All-Ireland semi finals in Claregalway. While we have no club player through to these stages, there will be top games involving Boys and girls in U14 and U15. The Club will hold it’s official opening of the new handball alley on Saturday 24th March at 2pm. Further information will follow on this.
