Referee Recruitment:
If you wish to become a referee – please contact [email protected] and we will advise you of the process.
The game needs referees like never before and with increasing numbers of games, the game needs more referees. We need men and women to step forward to help with referring at every level. No Referees, No Games.
Club AGM:
Claregalway GAA’s 2023 Overall Club AGM took place on Sunday January 14th in our Knockdoemore clubhouse.
Best wishes to all newly elected officers throughout the various committees and thanks to all outgoing officers for the dedication and commitment to the club during their terms.

Looking forward to a successful 2024 on and off the pitch!

Green Club:
The Green Club Programme was established to support Gaelic Games clubs in taking simple and effective sustainability action in their grounds and activities. The Programme is structured around the themes of Energy, Water, Waste, Biodiversity and Travel & Transport and is designed to promote sustainability awareness and action in GAA clubs and communities.
We have done some work in this area however we are looking to build up a committee to further progress plans. If you are interested in this area and wish to provide an input, please contact any club officer or [email protected]

CG Sports Predictor 2023:
The results of the Sports Predictor competition that the Senior men’s club ran in 2023 were decided before Christmas. The competition started last March and consisted of predicting the results of several major sporting events throughout the year. There were 170 entries in total.
The winner was decided by tie-breaker and was Sean Lyons. Tony Kilbane came in second and Ben Creaven came in third position.
Thanks to all for supporting it and to the Senior club players for organising.
