The death has occurred of
Dermot McCafferty
Carnmore, Galway
Formerly of Mervue.
Dermot passed away peacefully at his home, on the 23rd of July, surrounded by his loving
family, after an illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his parents, Des and May.
He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Ann; his cherished children, Gary, Julie, Keith,
Kim, and Bec; grandson Scott; Gary’s wife Holly; Kim’s partner Ciarán; his dear siblings,
Ber, Barry, and Lori; his sisters- and brothers-in-law; the wider McCafferty family; and his
many friends.
Dermot loved colour, if anyone wishes, please feel free to wear.
Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to The Galway Hospice and The Irish
Cancer Society Night Nursing Service.
REST IN PEACE
Reposing at Sioroíocht (H91 XH02), in the grounds of the Church of the
Assumption and St. James, Claregalway, on Friday the 26 th of July from 5pm.
Removal at 6:30pm to the adjacent church. Dermot’s Requiem Mass will take
place on Saturday the 27 th of July at 11am, Funeral afterwards to Rinville
Cemetery, Oranmore.
