U16 Girls were back in League action over the weekend. On Sunday the Gold Team played hosts to Leitir Mor and after an entertaing game it was the visitors who left with the points on a score of 3–10 to 3–3. Then on Bank Holiday Monday the Green Team travelled to Annaghdown and had a convincing victory. We send Best Wishes to Laurie Moran, Siobhan Gavin, Eimile Gavin, Louise Brennan, Emma Connell, Ruth Horkan, Shauna Hurney, Michelle Dunleavey, Róisín Holland and Ciara Campbell who play in the All-Ireland Senior B Schools Final with Presentation Athenry next Monday in Kinnegad at 3pm. Also Best wishes to Caoimhe Moran and Mercy Tuam who play in the Junior B Final.
The Club’s U14 Teams played Clann na Gael Roscommon and Swinford on Bank Holiday Monday. Thanks to the two teams for travelling and our parents for supplying the refreshments and helping out on the day. We hope to pay return visits to these Teams during the year. We take part in the Galway County Feile Blitz in Oranmore on Saturday week 31st March.
