Claregalway & Lackagh Community Games Athletics Sports Day on Saturday 21st of April at The Regional Sports Ground, Dangan Newcastle, Galway commencing 2pm sharp.
Entries will be taken from 1.30–2pm.
Entry fee €2 per child.
Track events
U8 60m, 80m
U10 100m, 200m, 60m hurdles
U12 100m, 600m
U13 900m walk
U14 100m, 800m, 80m hurdles
U16 100m, 1500m, 7km marathon
Field events
U12 Ball Throw
U14 Long Jump, Shot Putt
U16 High Jump, Boys Discus, Javelin
Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
Winner from each event will represent the area at the County Finals in June. County Relays will be selected from the Sprint Finals. If interest may be 2km cycle for U12 & U14, 60m fun-run for U6 and novelty race for parents.

Community Games Swimming
There are separate Boys and Girls Competitions in each of the following age groups and strokes.
U8 Freestyle
U10 Freestyle, Backstroke
U12 & U14 Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke
U16 Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly
Any child interested in participating in the County Swimming Gala, please contact Marie by 21st of April as a local Gala will be organised only if numbers interested warrant it.
