Best of luck to our U16 Ladies who are part of the U16 County Panel who begin their intercounty league this weekend.

The U14s play away to St Gabriels on Monday in Aughrim at 7pm and the Green team are at home to Carraroe the same evening. Training for both panels on Saturday at 5:30.U16 Gold Team played away to Monivea on Monday and had a good win.

Well done to Andrea Glynn and Aisling Murphy who were part of the U14 Galway winning team who won the Connacht Final on Sunday 12th May when they played Mayo.

The U12 girls had a busy week. On Wed May 8th Claregalway Greens played Tuam/Cortoon in attrocious weather conditions in Knockdoemore. Both teams played very good football in the conditions. Claregalway did most of the attacking in the first half and led 1-4 to 1-0 at halftime Tuam/Cortoon applied a lot of pressure in the second half, but Claregalway finished stronger on a scoreline of 4–6 to 2–0.

On Friday May 10 Claregalway Gold travelled to Lettermore to Play Lettermore in the U12D League Quater final. The Game Started at 8:10pm because of delays with the Pitch. Lettermore started the brighter but as the first half wore on Claregalway got to grips with the game. Mid-way through the second half and the sides were level for the first time. Claregalway then took the lead and for ten minutes defended their Goal with Great Success despite the best efforts of the Home Team. Claregalway finished with a flourish on a scoreline of 4–7 to 2–5.

This Sunday 19th May the U12 Community Games Team plays Oranmore at 11:15 am in Balinderreen.

Hard luck to the Galway Senior ladies who lost out to Kerry in the All Ireland league Final in Parnell Park last Sunday. Best wishes to the our players with the Galway U-16 and U-21 Teams who start their campaigns this weekend.

Best of luck to the Carnmore U14 Camóige Team who play St Coleman’s of Gort in the COUNTY FINAL on Wednesday evening at 6.15PM in Kenny Park, Athenry.
