Carnmore U12 Camogie team did the club proud recently in Loughrea in a tough match against Killimor in the County A Final. The final score was Carnmore 7–7 to Killimors 3–4. Carnmore dominated in Midfield with Caoimhe Grealish and Rhiann Heery in excellent form. Our defenders goalie Emily Duggan, Laoise Byrne, Aoibhinn Fox, Jane Glynn and Aisling Killilea showed great maturity and held off a very strong Killimor forward line. Niamh Heffernan scored an incredible 3–3 on the day and was unstoppable in the forward line. Rachel Hughes scored a goal and 4 magnificent points. Jennifer Hughes and Sinead Donovan also scored a goal each. This was a wonderful performance by a very talented team, Well done to each and every one of them and their management team Sean Byrne, Vanessa Molloy, Catriona Byrne, Jenny Davoren and Dorothy Coyne.
