The opening game was always expected to be a tight affair and the first half of the game reflected this with both sides evenly matched. At the break, Claregalway led by just 3 pts on a scoreline of 1–7 to 1–4. A more energised Claregalway side took to the pitch in the second half outplaying the opposition all over the field. Corofin were given very few opportunities to score against a magnificent Claregalway defence and goals from Laura King, Aoife Gavin and Emma Finneran put Claregalway in the driving seat to become worthy champions for 2013 making this 5 years in a row for the Club. The final scoreline was Claregalway 6–11, Corofin 2–7. County Secretary Mary Hernon presented the Cup to Claregalway Captain, Aoife Philips. Referee was Tom Browne.

The victorious Claregalway Green Panel provided a guard of honour for the second panel who took to the pitch to take on Caherlistrane in the D Final. The Claregalway Ladies put their stamp on this game very early on with 4 early goals in quick succession. Both teams played some great football but Claregalway showed an incredible team performance leading at the break 6–2 to 2–1. Caherlistrane continued to create chances in the second half scoring a further 2 goals but it was not enough to beat a Claregalway side who played with incredible passion and skill. The final score was Claregalway 10–7, Caherlistrane 3–7. Mary Hernon was on hand once again to present the Cup to winning Captain Grace Gilmore.
