GAA Kelloggs Hurling Cúl Camp

Carnmore GAA Cúl Camp will be held from Monday July 14th to Friday July 18th from 10am–2.30pm in Carnmore. It’s for boys and girls aged 6–13. You can register and pay online at www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps. Cost is €55 for 1 child, €45 for second child and €40 for a third and any other children. You may also register on the day at the pitch, but if at all possible, please register online. Kit includes jersey,shorts and socks. The bag pack will be in County colours. All are welcome for what promises to be a fun filled week.

What to bring: Packed lunch and drink, Hurley and Helmet for Hurling and Camogie, Suitable playing gear, tracksuit, shorts, runners, boots, Rain jacket and changes of gear on wet days, Sun cream and baseball hat, Towel, Water.

Handball Féile 2014

Congrats to Division 5 Féile Handball 40×20 plate final winners who travelled to Monaghan recently: Darren Grealish, Kieran Keane, Dara Jordon, Shane Lawless, James Cummins and coach Tommy Duggan.


U12

Carnmore U12s travelled to Moycullen on Wednesday 25th June to play the fifth of their group games of the Ocean Hygiene League. Moycullen proved to be tough opposition with Carnmore down by a goal when the final whistle blew. Final Score Moycullen 1–4, Carnmore 0–4. Next match is in Carnmore, versus Athenry on Wednesday 9th of July at 6.30pm.


U16

Carnmore U16s played their last group game last evening, 3rd of July, against Moycullen. They took a four point win to earn their place in the semi-final. Final Score Carnmore 2–8, Moycullen 2–4. Well done to the lads and their mentors and best of luck in the Semi Final.


Junior A Carnmore v Turloughmore in Athenry at 4.30pm on Sunday 6th of July.


Cumann na mBunscol 2014

Pictured above is the full squad from Carnmore National School, winners of the County Final of Gaelic Football and Hurling competition after they were presented with their medals by members of the Carnmore Senior Hurling Team with Mr John Reilly, Principal. There was great excitement with bonfire alight and waving flags as the boys did a tour of the Carnmore Area, with the cups on the evening of Thursday June 26th, prior to arriving at the Carnmore Centre to a guard of honour by the Senior Team and the presentation of the medals.
