Strictly Claregalway was organised by Claregalway GAA to raise funds for the development of facilities at the GAA grounds in Knockdoemore.

The vision for the Knockdoemore site is that it wlll provide a top class recreational facility for the local community. Despite adverse weather conditions, work at Knockdoemore has been progressing very well under McCarthy Construction. A flood lit walkway is near completion and due to be open to the public in the coming weeks.

Club Chairman John Morrin thanked main sponsors Monaghan & Sons Car Dealership, Claregalway Hotel, St Jarlath’s Credit Union, McCarthy Contractors, Zurich and Electric Skyline for their generous sponsorship. He encouraged people to support local businesses in Claregalway and the surrounding area.

The committee would also like to thank all the dancers, their sponsors, local businesses and the community of Claregalway who supported this event. The phenomenal success of Strictly Claregalway is testament to the fact that when we work together as a community we can achieve great things.
