Claregalway Castle will host a special evening of song and recitation in memory of the well-loved and highly talented Percy French who died on 24th January 1920.
The Percy French Commemoration concert which is being held in Claregalway Castle tomorrow (Friday) is sold out, and there will be NO tickets available on the door.
The event commemorates the life of Percy French on the 100th anniversary of his death, with all donations to the Christian Blind Mission towards its work to prevent blindness in children in developing countries.
The centenary of the death of Percy French, who was a great Irish troubadour and artist, is being marked with the concert, devised by Michael Hurley, and also features Kathleen Eastwood, Margaret Duggan and Keeva Hurley-Kavanagh.
