The Claregalway/Carnmore Senior Citizens’ annual Christmas party was held on
Sunday the 11th December 2005. Everyone enjoyed it very much and we would like to
thank all those who contributed to the success of the occasion. Thanks to Fr. Noel for
saying the Mass and to the junior choir for the joyful singing; to the Claregalway hotel
for providing the lovely meal, and for sponsoring and providing the cake, and to the
hotel waitresses who gave their services voluntarily to serve the meal; to the band who
again got the choice of music and chat host just right; to all the many businesses and
individuals, too numerous to list, who sponsored spot prizes.
