Claregalway/Carnmore Text Alert service are holding annual re-registration evening on Wednesday 29th November between 8pm & 9pm in the Arches Hotel. The fee remains at €5 to cover administration costs, insurance and on-going cost of texts themselves. New members most welcome, come along and register on the night. AGM will be held directly after registration at 9pm

Seniors Alert Scheme : Pobal are an organisation which on behalf of the Department of Rural and Community Development fund the seniors Alert Scheme (Personal Alarms). A person over 65 years is eligible for a personal alarm once they meet certain criteria. Information seminar is being held at the Clayton Hotel Galway on Thursday 30th November 2017 from 10am to 1pm and 1.45pm to 5.15pm
