Carnmore U14 Camogie team won the County Championship in a thriller at Loughrea on 14th June . Carnmore 1-1 to Mullagh’s 0-1. A Goal from Rachael Killilea raised the tempo of the game in the second half and this was shortly followed by a point from Christina Hanley. Mullagh scored a point from a free and our girls had to defend fiercely to hold onto their lead. It was great to see so many supporters from U-8 up to Intermediate at the game.
A tour of the parish followed with a stop for treats at Glynn’s Centra … (Thanks Liam!!) then back to the Centre for more celebrations. Well done to all the girls and to their managers Kieran Finn, John Abbott & Gerry Loughnane.
