Barry McGrath, The Wood, Cregmore, Claregalway, Co. Galway and San Francisco, January 29th 2022, following a tragic car accident in San Francisco.

Barry is predeceased by his loving dad John. He will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, his mam Bernie, sisters Emma and Lisa, his brother Brian and his wife Síofra and by his three adored nephews Ben, Eddie and Timmy, his granny Peggie Duffy, his aunts and uncles, his wonderful circle of first cousins and all his extended family. Barry will be missed by all his good friends here and overseas.

On Thursday, February 3rd, visitation at St Philip the Apostle Church, San Francisco, took place, followed by Funeral Mass for Barry McGrath. Mass was live streamed on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihx1-4E1tcU.

Barry’s remains have been repatriated to Ireland.

Reposing at Our Lady’s Chapel, Lackagh on Monday evening (7th) from 4.00 o’c. with removal to Church of Our Lady of Knock, Lackagh (H65 N129) at 7.00 o’c. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 noon, with burial in Lackagh Old Cemetery.

The wearing of face masks is essential inside the church and strongly encouraged outside the church.
