Our Annual General Meeting will be held on the Thursday the 7th of November in the school Halla at 8:30pm. It is an important meeting as I will be stepping down as Chairperson and will be seeking nominations for a new Chairperson. The role is open to every parent in the school and will have all my support and help going forward. Also on the night there will be nominations taken for all the various roles on the committee and I would once again thank the present committee members Ciara Fenton and William Ahern.
There has been great momentum built up over the last couple of years and I would love to see this continue in to the future, especially something as important as our Cyril the Squirrel Saving Scheme. There are loads of capable parents out there well able to take this on and get much more done. I know this because they have already been a major part of getting it to where it is now.
I will take this chance to thanks the Principals, both past and present, the teachers, kind Sponsors and of course all the parents and kids who made all the events we ran possible. I regret that I cant continue on in the role but it is not possible at the moment.
The Parents Association is a very important group within any school and a strong one benefits Parents, Children and the school itself.
