The AGM of the Ladies Club takes place on Wednesday 7th December at 8pm in the Clubhouse.  All parents of children involved in the Club are encouraged to attend.  New members are always welcome and are an essential part of the Clubs continued growth.  It is also very important to get new perspectives and new ideas to ensure that we can provide the best training, facilities and other associated activites for our Children.  If you have an interest in getting involved, please contact Club Secretary Mary Conlon on 0877999379.
The curtain came down on the 2011 Galway Ladies Club scene on Sunday 27th November with the last game of the season being the County U-16A final. What a game it turned out to be between the reining League champions KilkerrinClonberne and championship holders Claregalway. Following heavy overnight rain the game was switched to Milltown which was in good condition.  KilkerrinClonberne won the toss and elected to play with the breeze. It was Claregalway who scored first when Siofra Leonard got on the end of a cross and saw her fisted effort just go over the bar rather than under.  KilkerrinClonberne were soon into their stride and had opened a commanding 11pts to 5pts lead by the interval. The second half began with Clonberne increasing their lead but Claregalway slowly clawed it back with 3 points in a row. Then midway through the half Aislinn Newell struck for the first goal of the game to leave just a single point between the Teams. Entering the final few minutes KilkerrinClonberne were holding on to a two point lead when the ball made its way to sub Roisin Holland and the star of Feile Corcaigh found the KilkerrinClonberne net to give the Claregalway girls the lead for the first time in the half. The Claregalway defence put in a great finish to keep out their opponents and Clargalway retained the title on a final score of 2-9 to 0-14. We say well done to Clonberne who are a very young Team and have the league title to show for their season. After the game County Secretary  Mary Hernon presented the Cup to the Claregalway Captain Siofra Leonard.
