Co. Galway VEC has begun the enrolment process for prospective students of the new Claregalway Post Primary School for the school year 2013/2014.

Application forms for student enrolment were last sent last Thursday directly to the 112 parents and guardians who supported Co. Galway VEC’s application for patronage of the new school and who indicated their intention to enrol their children in the school for the 2013/2014 school year.

Application forms for student enrolment  have also been forwarded to all primary schools within the Claregalway catchment area.

Since Minister Ruairí Quinn formally announced the appointment of Co. Galway VEC as patron of the new Claregalway Post Primary School on 25 July, the VEC has been engaging with all relevant partners in relation to making the necessary preparations for the opening of the new school on September 2013.ection on its website to the new Claregalweay Post Primary School.  This will contain all relevant information in relation to the new school and will provide updates on all developments relating to the school’s establishment.  The VEC’s webside can be accessed at www.countygalwayvec.com.

The VEC will also host an Information Evening for prospective parents/guardians of students intending to enrol for the 2013/2014 school year on Thursday 11 October in the Claregalway Hotel at 8pm.
