Lackagh Comhaltas—Fleadh Cheoil na Gaillimhe

A spectacular weekend was had for Lackagh Comhaltas at the recent  Fleadh Cheoil na Gaillimhe which took place in Castleblakeney last weekend (18^h-19th of May 2013).

Lackagh Branch of Comhaltas was very strongly represented on the occasion, a lot of hard work took place in the lead up to the event, the dedication and commitment through the long weeks of practice was evident for all to see, a credit to all who participated and all who were involved.

Congratulations to all who participated in the competitions. Qualifiers now go forward to represent Galway at The Connacht  Fleadh Cheoil  in Carrick-on-Shannon on the weekend of the 6^th & 7^th of July 2013.

Community Games

Good luck and best wishes to our U14 community games music group, who are participating in the All Ireland Finals, in Athlone I.T. this Saturday 25^th May 2013.Group members are: Eadaoin Ní Neachtain, Rachael Hughes, Isabel Moran, Eimear Higgins, Amy Murphy and Daniel Knoop.
