The ‘Never Too Old’ Charity Shop (providing funding for the Claregalway & District Day Care Centre) can avail of people on a Tús Community Work placement programme. Currently persons who are unemployed for at least 12 months and in receipt of a jobseekers allowance payment, and would like to gain valuable work experience in retail, can do so in the Tús programme.
Persons who are eligible to work in the shop for 19 hours per week through Tús self referral process are asked to contact the ‘Never Too Old Charity Shop. The shop is also seeking new volunteers for hours shifts.
Donations of clean, re-saleable goods are appreciated when open Monday-Saturday 10am-6.00pm.
