All involved with Claregalway GAA – players, members, supporters, team mgt, sponsors and the wider Claregalway community are building up to the Intermediate Connacht Final next Sunday November 19th, 2pm in Hyde Park, Roscommon. We are hoping for a large, vocal and colourful crowd supporting the team next Sunday in Roscommon. To promote the game, we are planning a number of activities;
· More flags and bunting around the village
· Signs erected promoting the game
· Visit the National schools next Friday Nov 17th with cups etc
· Decorate the National Schools and competition for best decorated school
We had a lovely time with the players, families and kids Sunday morning in Knockdoe. Keep an eye on Club Facebook page for updates on these and other activities.
On the day of the match we are planning a ‘Connacht Final Breakfast’ event in Claregalway Hotel between 9:30 to 11:30. Breakfast is available for those travelling by car or buses to the game. We will have face painting, Beanie hats for sale and will be showing the Claregalway v St Johns semi final. The cost is €10 for adults and €5 for children. Come along and enjoy the atmosphere in the build-up to the game.
We are arranging a supporter’s bus for the game and have a special offer for those interested in travelling on the bus. A seat on the bus costs €10 but we can offer bus and entry to the match for €20. Ticket Prices for the match are €15 general, €10 Students OAP and U 16 free. If you want to book a seat on the bus, please text your details to 087 6707297 before Wednesday. This offer is limited to the first 50 people who book by text message. Any U14s travelling must be accompanied by an adult. Buses will leave from Claregalway Hotel after the ‘Connacht Final Breakfast’ event at 11:45 approx.
