The local clubs who use the 20 acre Knockdoemore Park are clubbing together in a bid to plant their boundaries and walkway areas in trees, hedging and shrubs before Mothers Day. Galway Based Medical Company, Boston Scientific are to be the main sponsor of the initiative.The organisers are seeking support too and in return for a contribution of €100 for a business pack, €20 for a Family Planting or €10 per individual , a tree and/or hedging plants will be planted in your name.
You can support by calling to the clubhouse between the times below to purchase your pack or if you aren’t in the locality you can use the “GET TICKETS” link below to purchase a pack online. Your details will be passed onto the organisers.
Claregalway GAA, Clare River Harriers Athletic Club, 12th Galway Scouts , Lackagh Foróige, Trad -Tastes Turloughmore are the organisers of the event. The event is also supported by the National Tree Council of Ireland.
