Mens News:
Our Junior B’s had a 3:11 to 1:05 win against St. Michaels at the weekend.
Hard luck to the Junior C squad who lost to our near neighbours Annaghdown in the west Board
semi-final played in Cregg on Sunday. Annaghdown 0-26 to Claregalway 2.06. This brings the
curtain down on the Junior C season. Thanks to all the Men who participated during the year.
Senior Championship begins the weekend of the 28 th of July with a fixture against
Mountbellew/Moylough – further details TBC

Minors:
Our Minor A and B teams are out this coming Sunday against Kinvara and Monivea-Abbey
respectively. These are both home fixtures with times TBC.
Under 14 Girls:
Our three Under 14 girls teams were in finals over the past week.
Tuam was the venue for last weekends Under14 Division 7 Shield Final which saw Claregalway tog
out against Tuam Cortoon. The Claregalway Girls were again the winners on the night with a great
team display.

Our Under 14’s served up a thrilling encounter in the Division 3 League Final in Knockdoemore, last
night Thursday – 13th July, it took extra time to separate these teams with Claregalway running out
the ultimate winners against St Furseys.
Claregalway 6-12 V 5-10 St Furseys ( after extra time )
Our Div 1 team were out against Salthill Knocknacarra. This was a keenly contested game with
Claregalway winning out by the narrowest of margins. Well Done to all the girls who worked so hard
and were the deserving winners on the night.

Work commenced on the new Juvenile pitch for Claregalway GAA at Knockdoemore Park last
week. Eva and Kathy Hughes of Hughes SuperValu Claregalway (who will be the pitch sponsors
when the works which commenced yesterday are completed) were in attendance.

Summer Camp:
Our Gaelic Football Camp for aged 6-13 takes place between the 14th and 18th of August in
Knockdoemore between 10am – 2pm. 60 Euro for one child, 50 euro for a second child or 130 Euro
for a family of three of more.
