U16 Ladies replayed their Division 1 County Final on Sunday 8th May following a nail biting draw the previous week against Kilkerrin Clonberne. The Claregalway Girls had a strong wind at their backs for the first half and were slightly ahead at the break. In the second half, Claregalway faced a strong breeze and had difficulty converting. It was a very strong and detemined Kilkerrin Clonberne side who ran out convincing winners.

U16 Tigers met Dunmore in the Division 3 League Semi Final. This was a very even match from the start with both sides enjoying equal possession. However, Dunmore missed several scoring opportunities and Claregalway were slightly ahead at the break. The second half began with the same intensity and once again Dunmore were unlucky to convert several chances. It was a fantastic effort from the Claregalway Girls who performed brilliantly in every position on the field and dominated in the last ten minutes. The final score was Claregalway 2-8, Dunmore 1-5. The U16 Tigers meet Clonbur in the Division 3 Final with a date and venue to be confirmed.

U14 Ladies: The U14 Lions played away to Salthill/Knocknacarra in the 2nd round of the Division 1 League on Monday 9th May. Despite a great effort from Salthill/Knocknacarra, the Claregalway backs gave them little room to convert and Claregalway won out strongly. The panel was; Natasha Hynes, Lauren Coen, Samantha Burke, Karen Dowd, Karen Healy, Megan Glynn, Ellie Glynn, Shauna King, Emma Connolly, Ciara Campbell, Ciara Burke, Roisin Holland, Stephanie O Connell, Rebecca Hansberry, Orla Murphy (Capt), Keeva Gallagher, Laurie Moran, Michelle Coyle.

U14 Tigers played St Furseys in round 1 of the League. This was a game where Furseys dominated for the entire 1st half, with Claregalway more than 5 goals down at the break. In the second half, Claregalway made an incredible comeback scoring 8 goals and 5 points, however, Furseys finished slightly ahead on a final scoreline of 8-7 to 8-4. The panel was Ellen Connolly, Kate Carr, Roisin Conlon, Moya Dunleavy, Aoife O Connell, Deirdre Keane, Catherine Walsh, Morgen Conroy Broderick (Capt), Laura Field, Chloe Donnellan, Catriona Moran, Megan Shaughnessy, Eva Gilmore, Leah Flemming, Gwen Horkan, Lorna Mullally, Sky Nash, Gwen Horkan, Leanne McArdle, Aisling Murphy, Laura King, Orla O Gorman, Aoife Gavin. The Tigers play at home to Glinsk in round 2 of their League on Wednesday 11th May. The game throws in at 6.30pm. All players to be at clubhouse at 6pm Sharp.
