Following a tragic accident on the eve of the All-Ireland Hurling Final Jason McGann, a 23 year old Sarsfields hurler, remains seriously in St. James Hospital, Dublin.
Jason’s mother is from Cregmore and this has come as a shattering blow for the McGann and Holland families. This weekend the Friends of Jason McGann will hold a fundraising dance in Ward’s, Ballyfa on this Saturday 11th November at 9.00 pm. Music by Tommy Flaherty and Francis Fahy. Admission €10.
