Andrew Lloyd Webber is not the only one looking for his “Dorothy”. Auditions for the timeless family classic The Wizard Of Oz will be held on Sunday 16th May in The Claregalway Hotel. Childrens auditions (age 10 – 15) start at 2.30 pm and adult auditions start at 3.30 until 5pm. The show contains such memorable songs as Somewhere Over The Rainbow, Ding Dong The Witch is Dead and We’re Off to See the Wizard.
There are several exciting parts to audition for including The Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Aunty Em, The Wizard ,The Wicked Witch, Dorothy and of course everyones favourite The Munchkins.
So have a heart, use your brain, don’t be a cowardly lion, follow the yellow brick road to Claregalway to audition with Director Gary Brookfield and Musical Director Shane Farrell.
