Cregmore Girls U10 Div1 team competed in an epic first round GFA U10 cup competition in Cregmore on 19th May against Salthill Devon FC. As cup competition is knock-out, Cregmore began first half with a well struck goal from Sarah Cogley which was equalised by SDFC before half time. SDFC then took lead in second half and a second goal from Sarah Cogley from an acute angle ensured tie would go to extra time. Sarah completed her hat-trick of goals with a well struck effort in extra time to send Cregmore into next round of cup and to ensure that this team have another day out.
This team are made up of young players who remain eligible to play U10 soccer next year and in some cases for another two years. Well done girls.
