Fixtures and results:

Ladies:

The Galway Senior Club Championship title eludes our Ladies for another year unfortunately.

Congrats to Kilkerrin Clonberne LGFA on their tenth county title in a row and best of wishes to them as they continue to Connacht.

We lost out on a scoreline of 1:14 to 0:03 in Tuam Stadium and were outclassed by a more efficient and experienced outfit on the day.

Thanks to our ladies and mentors for the work they have put in this year and every year.

We will get there!

The club would like to thank Secure All Security Group and Kesel Construction for their sponsorship and support this year.

U14 Girls End of Season Event

A very enjoyable day was had by all in the Dome at the Connaught Centre of Excellence in Bekan on the 1st October. This was our end of season day trip for the Under14 Claregalway ladies. The blitz we had was hotly contested. Thanks to all our coaches for coordinating the bus, blitz and burgers. Thanks to our busy referee Fran Keenan from Dunmore who was strict but fair. Finally, thanks to the players who played their usual part to make it an entertaining and fun day.

Under 10 Girls:

Our Under 10 girls were invited to assemble a guard of honour before the Ladies County final on Saturday. They also played a mini-match at half time. Thanks to all involved.

Minor A Boys:

Well done to all the lads on a tough win on Saturday versus Tuam Stars in the North Board Final in Tuam Stadium. Thanks to all the supporters for coming out and cheering on the lads in what were very difficult conditions. Full time score: Claregalway 0:08 Tuam Stars 0:06.

Minor B Boys:

Our Minor B team had a good win against Gaeil na Gaillimhe on Sunday morning in Knockdoemore in the B League/Shield winning out on a scoreline of 2:11 to 2:06

Most of our boys and girls groups have ceased activities after having a great 2022 season. Our players have had a fun year, developing skills, making new friends and most of all enjoying themselves. It’s not all about winning, learning and developing as well as fun are just as important.

Thanks to all of our coaches who have put so much time and effort into the development of all of our players this and every year.
