Claregalway National School is currently taking part in its third European Comenius Project, joined by schools in France, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Turkey and Romania. Claregalway N.S. Parents Association have compiled a video, highlighting the dangers for local students getting to school each day. Two more schools in Galway received notification on Friday that funding is being allocated for the replacement of pre-fabricated classrooms with permanent buildings. This year, the children of Claregalway National School have put their artistic talents to work by producing designs for Christmas Cards which will be sold locally to raise funds for the school.
