Claregalway Amenity Group was very upset to notice that the clothes bank in Dunleavy’s car park was vandalised. We believe clothes were taken out of the bank and strewn along the roadside. The restoration of the Nine Arches early 18th century bridge at Claregalway was commenced by Claregalway Amenity Group at the beginning of this year. Work on the restoration of the Nine Arches is due to commence on the 14th April next. Galway County Council have recently been allocated £70,000 by the National Roads Authority for the completion of the Traffic calming measures in Claregalway.
